The Texas International Fishing Tournament (TIFT) will launch its 4th Annual TIFT Catch a Redfish Educational Scholarship (CARES) at our 77th event August 3 – August 7.

The 10 month program will be open to all anglers registered in TIFT, and junior anglers who are 16 years of age or younger.  Tagged redfish will be released in the Laguna Madre Bay and the first five anglers who catch one of the tagged fish will receive a $10,000 scholarship.  Fishing for the event will be open from August 5, 2016 through May 31, 2017.  Any angler registered in the 77th TIFT is automatically registered in the TIFT CARES.

“This program was designed as an investment in the future of TIFT. We feel this is a wonderful complement to our existing annual scholarship program and encourages the family fishing experiences that have kept our tournament growing.”

A limited number of sponsorships are now available for this unique program.  TIFT will fund the total scholarship monies awarded.  All sponsors will be recognized in all media and promotions of TIFT CARES.

For more information, please view the attached sponsorship information.  Please feel free to contact Tournament Director Kristi Collier at (956) 943-8438 with any questions.
