As we come to the close of 2014, the TIFT executive board would like to wish you and your families a very happy New Year, and as you prepare your New Year’s resolutions, we hope spend more time fishing is at the top of your list!
The next few months will be exciting, as we strategize, plan, and market the 76th TIFT. From putting the finishing touches on our sponsorship benefits to sending out scholarship applications, and from trophy selection to ordering merchandise, our executive board is hard at work (behind the scenes) to ensure another memorable tournament.
While you keep your resolution to spend more time fishing this year, be sure to take your kids along. Don’t forget they still have time to “catch” a $10,000 scholarship through May 31, 2014 as part of TIFT CARES (Catch a redfish educational scholarship)! Wouldn’t that be a fabulous way to start the new year?
Special thanks to our TIFT CARES sponsors: Genco Energy Services, Dargel Boats, Mitch & Clarisse Heidenheimer, Breakaway Cruises, Laguna Bob & Sea Ranch Restaurant. As we look back on 2014, we would be remiss if we didn’t think of these generous sponsors and how they make TIFT possible!
We’ll also have a TIFT booth at the All Valley Boat Show at the McAllen Convention Center February 6-8, 2015, so be sure to come by to see us!
